About Me

My photo
I've worked in the games industry for over 10 years. I've worked on most platforms in most genres and in most disciplines to some extent. These include: 3D Modelling, Texturing, UI Graphics, VFX, Animation, Design, Scripting and concept work. I currently work at Electronic Arts UK (Guildford) as a 3D Environment Artist.

And so to Electronic Arts - Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Xbox, Gamecube, PS2)... Circa 2003

I started at Electronic Arts in 2003 and went straight onto Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. My duties were again varied. they included Lighting, 3D Modelling and texturing of a number of levels, 3D Modelling, texturing and animation of Prop elements.

Lighting required in most cases a Day time and Night time solution. As shown in the below comparisons.

Here are a some examples of levels I build and also provided lighting concept images for.
The Marauders Map Levels: Compass Room, Wormtail's Puzzle and the Armour Room.

Here are some examples of Props/Dressing items I created for the Muggle Studies area and also the Boggart 'Jack-in-a-Box' creature used in the Defence Against the Dark Arts section.

I was given a character test to do. I can't remember now whether he was used or not in the original game, but I enjoyed having a go at him. I think he matches the original actor fairly well (Robert Hardy).
